Mini Japanese Dozuki Panel Saw Overview

This small Japanese hand saw is used for scoring and cutting panels or veneer. The "Woodpecker" hook tooth at the tip "V" end of the blade is used to scratch line to start the first cut. Metal backbone (Dozuki) helps keep the blade stiff. 7-1/2" long cane wrapped wood handle. 14-5/8" overall length. 6" cutting edge has hard impulse hardened teeth. 0.3mm (.012" ) thick blade. 18 TPI with teeth pitch of 1.4mm (0.058" ).


Replacement blade available separately (Rockler #65581).
